DRDO Recruitment 2012 for candidates interested in defense research
Defense Research and Development Organization is under the Department of Defense Research and Development of Ministry of Defense. DRDO works dedicatedly towards increasing self reliance in the defense system. Along with that the DRDO also designs and develops world class weapon system in accordance to the need and requirement. DRDO works in different sectors of military technology like the armaments, aeronautics, electronics, combat vehicles, and systems for instrumentation engineering, materials, missiles, advanced computing, naval systems. Apart from making a huge contribution in developing and designing world class weapons DRDO also provides the society with plenty of benefits and thus helps in making a better nation.
DRDO recruitment 2012 will recruit people for Junior Research Fellow post and has announced walk in interviews for this regard. Defense Terrain Research Laboratory that is the DTRL under Defense Research and Development Organization (that is DRDO) has published notice about recruiting people for the post of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) in Defense Terrain Research Laboratory (DTRL).candidates who are interested for this job should come for a walk-in interview on 15th September, 2012. The detailed information regarding educational qualification, age limit and pay scale is listed below.
Requirements
A total of seven seats are available for four different posts. Thus among all the applicants only seven will be selected for these four post. The posts for which candidates will be selected are JRF (Remote Sensing and GIS), JRF (Computer Science), JRF (Geology) and JRF (Civil Engineering). For the post of junior research fellow in Remote Sensing & GIS a total number of 3 seats are vacant. For JRF (computer Science) there is a vacancy for 02. In case of both JRF (geology) and GRF (civil engineering) a single seat is available for each case.
There is a fixed limitation in regard to age of the applicant. The candidate applying for any of the above posts cannot exceed the maximum age of 28 years. The applicant must not be more than 28 years of age on the date of his interview. The age relaxation is as per the rules that are there is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates.
The candidates will be selected by interviewing them in a walk in interview. The walk in will be held on 15th September, 2012 at DTRL in Metcalfe House at Delhi-110054.
Method for applying to DRDO recruitment 2012
The eligible and the interested candidates should register themselves and should forward their application form after completely filling it up on or before 6th September, 2012 to director@dtrl.DRDO.in. The candidates who will register themselves within the last date will be asked to attain a walk in interview on the 15th of September, 2012. The walk interview will start at 09:30 hrs at Metcalfe House, Delhi. The candidates appearing for the walk in should bring with them the application form and other important certificates and documents. Along with the original hard copy of the certificates there must also be a photocopy and attested copy of each. For DRDO recruitment 2012 the candidate will also be asked to produce two recent passport size photographs at the time of interview.
